Tough mudder 2013

Mike trained all year for the tough mudder which is a 12 mile obstacle course in mud. He did his on October 5,2013 & I was so proud of him successfully finishing it without skipping any obstacles. He's one tough mudder.....
He liked it so much we are going to Kansas in May so he can do it again with a friend :)

Mike's 37th birthday

My amazing hubby had a birthday back in September & now he's 37 !!!! I've been having an issue with my phone posting my posts online. I've had a post about the first day of school that I've been meaning to rewrite on my laptop but all the pictures are on my phone. It's a huge mess.... Sisterly love

My Mom sent me these pictures of my girls. They are spending the night with her & it looks like it's makeup night. I love when Shelby lets Aubrey do her makeup. I love it even more when Shelby makes Aubrey feel special by doing her makeup for her. My girls really do love each other...

Soccer Mom ?

Brandon played soccer this season for the first time. He was on the Panthers. He loved it & I loved watching him play. He loves to run so soccer was a great sport for him. Aubrey would go to every game with me & be his personal cheerleader. It was so cute watching her encourage her brother. Yesterday the soccer league offered a free soccer clinic so Aubrey decided to play with Brandon. She told me she liked it & wanted to play next season. So next year I will have 3 kids playing soccer.... I guess that means I'm Offically a soccer Mom that drives a mini van.....lol

Shelby is 15

Today Shelby turned 15. We spent the day at the museum then took her to lunch at a Mexican place like she wanted. Time is flying by so fast... We love you Shelby d are so proud of you.

Museum of natural science field trip

Friday we went on our first field trip with the Baytown homeschool group. We went to the museum of natural science. This was the first time the gnomes have ever been there and we had a great time. The kids all enjoyed the butterfly exhibit & trying to find the butterflies that were in their cards. They also loved the dinosaur exhibit. Aubrey was scared at first because they are so huge but then she realized how awesome it was. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be able to have my kids home with me & teach them about different things in the world.

Dirty girl 2013

This weekend I went to Austin with 3 of my friends to do the dirty girl mud run. It's a 5K with 13 obstacles in it that are all in the mud. It was so much fun. I was so scared I was going to break my leg trying to run on the rocks so I didn't do a while bunch of running . I was very proud of myself , Kathryn, Kris & Sara because we completed every obstacle. There were some that were kinda scary because we were covered in mud like going up a huge rope ladder praying you didn't slip & fall to your death... Ok nothing like that happened but it was scary. It was nice just to spend time with the girls in a quick overnight trip. I can't wait to do it again.

Brandon gets dedicated....

Today was a big day for Brandon. We got him dedicated at church this morning. We made a promise to raise him in a Christian home & teach him the way God wanted us to act. We promised to raise him in church where he is surrounded by people who have the same beliefs as we do. We promised to love him & take care of him so he can grow up and become an amazing man who loves God & family because those 2 things at the most important things in life. Brandon is such an amazing part of our family. He loves to dance. He loves to be outside playing or hanging out with Mike doing things in the yard. He loves playing with Aubrey. Most of all I think he loves to jump of my couches because I'm constantly reminding him my couch is not his trampoline. He is also quite a funny little boy who loves to make us laugh with his little crazy faces. I am so glad we were chosen to raise this precious little boy who is so full of energy & life :)

Disney cruise 2013

We just got home from a Disney cruise . These are 2 of my favorite family pictures we took while on vacation. The one not with the boat is when we were in lobe to get on the ship. Yes i know Brandon looks so sad but that is because he just got in trouble for untying those line things that keep the lines in order.yes my child decided he should let it be free...the other picture with us infront odd the boat was taken when we were in cozumel getting back on the ship. I've been sick but I will upload a million more in the next few days....

Catalina

I know I have wrote about how much Aubrey loves horses. She would ask us everyday if we would buy her a horse but they are expensive ... God truly blessed us because Catalina was given to us..free... Aubrey was so excited when we told her. Catalina lives at my Mom's house but Aubrey visits her all the time. I'm excited for my little princess & her new horse.
